AlessiTab, the first Italian tablet designed for the home and developed by the partnership between Alessi and Promelit, renews its contents and performances giving life to the second generation: the AlessiTab².

AlessiTab² keeps unchanged the original design by Stefano Giovannoni and updates the contents: new CPU, increased speed, Google Android 2.3 Operative System and a more attractive, dynamic and interactive graphical interface.
With the new AlessiTab² it's easy to download applications from the market, watch movies on YouTube, use Skype and enjoy numerous applications downloaded and installed directly on device. Moreover, through Bluetooth technology, the exchanging of information is always assured: just activating by a click the AlessiTab² Bluetooth to connect automatically to other devices and send photos, listen to music, transfer data.
As the previous version AlessiTab² can be used in two different positions: as tablet, if positioned on its charging base, ideal for interacting with the touch screen, or as digital TV. AlessiTab² is equipped with an external antenna, as well as the standard cable TV socket, to increase the reception of digital channels.

The uniqueness of AlessiTab² is the "AlessiTab" application, especially developed for the new device, allowing the interaction with a suite of multimedia contents wider than the first version.
The most important news is the large selection of recipes - nearly 3.000 - the user can dispose thanks to the recent partnership with La Cucina del Corriere della Sera.
Due to the agreement signed with RCS the editorial contents on the news in real time are provided by Corriere della Sera.it and is also available the Corriere della Sera Digital Edition application for reading, starting from 6 in the morning, the digital version of the newspaper and the 17 local issues with insights and exclusive multimedia contents, video and images from the photogallery.

AlessiTab² speaks many languages: the "AlessiTab" application, set up for Italy, starting from 2011 will be ready also for the other European countries. France, Uk and Germany can enter to the contents in their languages thanks to the partnership started with important international groups: Reuters for news, Atelier des Chefs for recipes, meteonews for metereological service.
AlessiTab², distributed from November in Italy and Europe through the large-scale distribution and Alessi Flagship Stores, is new also for the more affordable price: 349 euro.

AlessiTab² confirms to be a simple, intelligent, versatile and for everyone device, intended to enter the everyday use of the families of third millennium.
